
Temitayo Ifafore Calfee
Health Workforce Technical Advisor, Global Health Fellow

Mrs. Temitayo (Temi) Ifafore-Calfee is the Health Workforce Technical Advisor in the Office of Population and Reproductive Health (PRH) at USAID. Temi provides technical assistance related to human resources for health, capacity building in leadership, management and governance, and systems strengthening. She currently provides project management support for the $198 million LMG Project and the $141 million HRH2030 Project.
Prior to joining USAID, she provided administrative oversight over a public health workforce development program as National Program Director for Health Career Connection. Skilled in program management, hospital operations, quality improvement and health systems strengthening, Temi worked as Director of Operations for Johns Hopkins Medicine International in Panama and served as Regional Director for the William J. Clinton Foundation HIV/AIDS Initiative in Ethiopia.
Temi received her Masters Degree in Public Health from the University Of Michigan School Of Public Health and a BA in Socio-Cultural Anthropology from Yale University. Temi is fluent in Spanish, has working knowledge of Brazilian Portuguese, and enough Amharic to not get lost in Addis Ababa.
