Stembile Mugore

Stembile (Tembi) Mugore is seconded by IntraHealth to the Evidence to Action (E2A) Project as Senior Advisor for Performance Improvement, since 2011. Prior to joining to E2A, Tembi was the Regional Director/Chief of Party of the IntraHealth led Human Resources for Health project in Southern Africa, managing health work force development programs in 5 countries. A nurse midwife Tembi has worked with policy makers, in-service training managers, pre-service education institutions and regulatory bodies to strengthen family planning and reproductive health and HIV/AIDS training for nurses and midwives and CHWs in Zimbabwe, Uganda, Tanzania, Lesotho, Malawi and Swaziland. In her current position, Tembi is contributing to service delivery strengthening and capacity building to scale-up evidence based FP/RH practices, she has expanded the countries she works with to include West Africa.
