Samantha de Silva has worked at the World Bank for 20+ years. She has task managed projects in both the Education and Social Protection practices and also functioned as Country Sector Coordinator for the Human Development (HD) Network covering Education, Health and Social Protection. From 2010-2015, Samantha was based in Afghanistan task managing a USD 640 million education project and overseeing a USD 1 billion HD portfolio. She has also lived and worked in Malawi as a Senior Technical Advisor for a USAID microfinance project. Samantha has worked in over 20 countries and in all regions.
