Dr. Russanne Low is a senior Earth scientist at the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies, Arlington, VA.  She is a leader in geoscience education, with a focus on  advancing citizen science. Rusty also serves as the science lead for NASA’s GLOBE Observer Mosquito Habitat Mapper mobile app. The app is now being deployed by GLOBE teachers and students in Peru and Brazil through the GO Mosquito Challenge, a project funded by USAID’s Combating Zika and Future Threats: A Grand Challenge for Development.
