Rehema Namukose is a highly motivated global youth leader and women’s rights advocate. She has over five years of experience supporting global, national, and local communications and advocacy initiatives around issues such as maternal health, sexual and reproductive health rights, youth leadership and empowerment. Rehema has contributed to these issues under various capacities at organizations such as the White Ribbon Alliance, Women Deliver, World Learning, and the Center for Energy and Energy Conservation (CREEC). She is very passionate about youth - especially adolescent girls - engagement in sustainable development efforts and has led youth groups such as Re!gniteAfrica, a youth-led and youth-focused career development and advocacy organization she founded in 2015. She has also been a part of leadership and professional development fellowships that include the esteemed Atlas Corps program and, very recently as a graduate student at SIT Graduate Institute, Rehema accepted a fellowship at Oxfam America, DC Office, to serve in the Policy and Campaigns Effectiveness Division. She received her undergraduate degree in Mass Communication from Makerere University in Uganda.
