Rebecca Lawrence is the Technical Lead for the Urban Policy Implementation Assessment as a consultant with USAID's Learning and Knowledge Management mechanism (LEARN). She recently joined Social Impact as Vice President for Program Management. Rebecca brings over 20 years of leadership and project management experience worldwide, with a focus on sustainable urban service delivery, democratic governance, and stabilization activities. She directed DAI’s governance programs in Africa for five years, and led a DFID municipal governance project in Mozambique. Prior to joining DAI in 2008, she worked in the Urban Institute’s field and home offices for 12 years. Rebecca holds a Master’s in Public Policy with a concentration in international political economy from Georgetown University.
