
Nicole Goldin

Dr. Nicole Goldin is Interim Director of Economic Participation at FHI360, overseeing the department’s Work, Youth and Learning, and Inclusion portfolio. She is also adjunct Professor at the Elliott School of International Affairs, George Washington University and is a non-resident Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council. Nicole was Lead Economist for Solutions for Youth Employment (S4YE) at the World Bank, and was previously founding Director of the Youth, Prosperity and Security Initiative at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) where she created the inaugural Global Youth Wellbeing Index in partnership with the International Youth Foundation (IYF). In the Obama Administration, Nicole held Senior Advisor positions at the State Department and USAID, where she spearheaded the development of the Agency's first Policy on Youth in Development. She is a Board Director at Educate!. Her career has included roles with Building Markets, Clinton Global Initiative, Chemonics, and IFES among others. She holds a PhD in economics from SOAS and Master’s degrees from the LSE and American University.
