Michael Foley works for Save the Children on the USAID Advancing Nutrition project. Mr. Foley was Chief of Party of SPRING in Kyrgyz Republic, a dynamic project aimed at improving the nutritional status of women and children. Then, as SPRING Country Support Team Lead, Mr. Foley oversaw a portfolio of SPRING countries from home office. Mr. Foley also works at Save the Children as the Deputy Team Lead for Nutrition, a team of technical experts and awards managers supporting Save the Children’s portfolio of nutrition projects operating all over the world. Mr. Foley has worked for Save the Children for over 15 years and, prior to joining SPRING, was the Director of Health & Nutrition for the Bangladesh Country Office overseeing a comprehensive health portfolio. Mr. Foley has experience in program development, design, implementation management, and monitoring and evaluation in the areas of newborn, maternal and child health, family planning and nutrition. Mr. Foley has a MA in International Development Studies from the Elliot School at George Washington University, a BS in Management Science from the University of California San Diego.
