Michael currently helps lead AECOM’s project management team to address critical water, sanitation and hygiene issues prevalent in the pastoralist communities of the rural lowlands of Ethiopia for the USAID Lowland WASH Activity. With his support, the USAID Lowland WASH Activity has worked to find innovative solutions to complex local and national challenges surrounding access to improved sanitation products and services in remote communities. Previously with AECOM, Michael supported the USAID Be Secure Project in the Philippines to strengthen the enabling environment for sustainable urban water and wastewater treatment service delivery through water sector regulatory reform and accountability initiatives. Overall, Michael has experience working in on development related activities in various countries across Southeast Asia, Africa and South America. Michael holds a BA in Environmental Studies from Dickinson College and a MA in International Development from Concordia University.
