Micha van Waesberghe is the Head of Knowledge Management at the Millennium Challenge Corporation, where he is charge of establishing the KM program and overseeing the implementation of the agency’s KM roadmap. With more than 15 years of experience in Knowledge Management, development, and international affairs, he is currently responsible for leading MCC’s efforts to make having the right knowledge at the right time to improve performance and results part of the way we work at MCC.

Prior to MCC, he was a leading specialist in Knowledge and Learning at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and a founding member of the award-winning KM program at ASI Government. At the IDB, he was responsible for the implementation of the IDB’s ‘Learning from Experience’ strategy, the introduction of innovative knowledge exchange and transfer methodologies, and the development of the Bank’s internet portal platform focused on content visualization, collaboration, and social integration.

He has worked on the frontlines of KM and international development programs in more than a dozen countries across Latin America, from Brazil and Argentina to Honduras, Colombia, the Caribbean, and more. He is the author of multiple KM articles, blogs, and white papers, and a frequent speaker on topics ranging from human rights to how to become a learning organization and the role of technology in KM.
