AVSI-USA is a member of the AVSI Foundation (Association of Volunteers in International Service), a network of 36 organizations worldwide. AVSI was founded in 1972 in Italy and today continues its mission of promoting human development with a focus on education and wellbeing. The AVSI network implements over 100 humanitarian and development projects in 30 countries in partnership with private donors, bilateral and international agencies and the business community.
