Libby Spader joined Humentum (formerly Humentum) in 2001, and over the next decade and half, oversaw the development and delivery of Humentum’s learning portfolio, providing the international development sector with practical, relevant, participatory, and engaging learning opportunities. In her current role as director of programs for Humentum, she is responsible for our many compliance, US Government, and other donor-focused learning programs, and leads our process for instructor selection and induction. She also works directly with Humentum's top members and clients to develop integrated, strategic learning approaches to meet their training needs. Libby is  a master trainer for our Training of Trainers and USAID Rules & Regulations workshops.

Graduating from Wesleyan University with a degree in theater, Libby’s career has included education, advertising, classical music management, event logistics for medical education programs, and a memorable stint as Goddess of Culture at a start-up. Libby sits on the GFGP Working Group, which, in collaboration with the African Academy of Sciences, is developing a Pan-African standard for financial management in the not-for-profit sector.
