Ms. Liane Asta Lohde focuses on the economic analysis of IFC’s investments in extractive industries, overlooking a global portfolio of US$ 2.6 billion. In this role she also leads on IFC’s policies in the extractive sector, with a particular focus on transparency and disclosure. Since 2014, she manages IFC’s work program on benefit sharing in natural resources. Before joining IFC, she worked at a London-based public policy think tank after several years in financial consulting on Wall Street. She holds degrees in economics and social policy from the University of Chicago and the London School of Economics.
