Kristin Beyard is a Senior Manager on Resonance’s (formerly SSG Advisors) Inclusive Markets team, overseeing the firm’s growing agribusiness portfolio and leading a number of cross-sector partnership initiatives. She brings over 10 years of experience in private sector and economic development with a background in market systems, agriculture investment, private sector partnerships, and enterprise development.

Recent examples of Ms. Beyard’s work include:
- Working with a multinational food and beverage company to develop a company-wide strategy for partnership creation, and the development of partnership models for the company’s sustainable sourcing team.
- Leading partnership and private sector engagement trainings for USAID and project staff in Moldova, Timor-Leste and El Salvador.
- Conducting field-based partnership mapping, opportunity identification, and packaging through Resonance’s Sustainable, Transparent, and Effective Partnership (STEP) process.
- Managed partnership development efforts in East Timor, Haiti, Niger, El Salvador, and Eastern Europe
- Serving as Chief of Party on the Trade and Competitiveness Activity with USAID E3 Bureau’s Trade and Regulatory Reform (TRR) Office.
- Leading the development of action-based strategies on diaspora partnerships through the Partnerships Support Project (PSP) with USAID’s Center for Transformational Partnerships and the U.S. Global Development Lab.
- Leading the firm’s diversification strategy to bring partnership experience and methodologies to other, non-USAID donors.
Prior to joining Resonance, Ms. Beyard worked for several development consulting firms where she managed successful multi-million dollar USAID programs throughout West and East Africa, and Asia, and developed and oversaw Global Development Alliance partnerships in the agriculture sector. She worked for a variety of public and private sector clients including DFID, DFAT and agriculture companies. She earned an MA in Economics and International Relations from Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), and a BA in Political Science and French from Drew University.
