
Kate Anderson

Kate Anderson is a project director and associate fellow in the Center for Universal Education at Brookings. Her work focuses on global education policy, learning assessment, skill development, and innovations in education data collection and use. She is currently the co-lead for formal education within the Skills for A Changing World project. Ms. Anderson joined Brookings in 2011 as the technical lead for the Learning Metrics Task Force, an initiative which build international consensus on important learning outcomes for the 21st century and how to measure them. Prior to joining Brookings, she spent 10 years conducting research and providing technical assistance for early childhood education initiatives in the US and Pakistan. Ms. Anderson earned a BA in psychology from Pepperdine University and an MPP in international education policy from Georgetown University.
