Jordan Long joined ABA ROLI in September 2016. Prior to joining the ABA, Long was Associate Director of HRC Global at the Human Rights Campaign, where he launched HRC’s inaugural Global Innovative Advocacy Summit and managed the HRC Global Fellowship Program. Long worked in Brussels for five years as a community organizer, designing and delivering capacity building conferences for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex (LGBTI) organizations across the European region and lobbying the EU institutions for inclusive policies on sexual orientation and gender identity. He received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, his M.A. in legal anthropology from the University of Chicago, and his B.A. in social anthropology from Miami University.
