John Holley

John Holley became a very successful independent consultant in health system management and design, after working 25 years in the Caribbean and Latin America. As an independent consultant, John spent 15 years working in most regions of the world, hired by USAID, The World Bank, WHO, UNICEF, UNFPA, and various consulting companies. His specialty was assisting health care systems and social marketing organizations to become independently sustainable through the use of complex computer simulation projection models. He also played an important role in improving the management of tuberculosis programs throughout the world. John is now based in the south of France where he produces some of the world's finest olive oil, and maintains an office/apartment in Washington DC. John retired from consulting about 4 years ago and, looking back, realized that he could legitimately say that he had helped millions of people to improve their lives in small ways.
