As Managing Director of the Millennium Challenge Corporation’s Department of Congressional and Public Affairs, Jennifer Belair works with the Congressional and External Affairs teams to develop and implement legislative and programming strategies in support of MCC’s mission and work across the globe.
Ms. Belair joined MCC in 2018 from Capitol Hill, where most recently she served as Parliamentarian for the House Committee on Financial Services.
Ms. Belair brings extensive legislative process and management experience to MCC, having worked on Capitol Hill for nearly a decade. She has advised members of Congress and staff on House and Senate procedure, managed the day-to-day operations of a Congressional committee, and achieved critical policy victories at the regional and national level. Prior to her time on the House Committee on Financial Services, Ms. Belair served on the staff of Congressman Pete Sessions, Congressman Doug Collins, and the House Committee on the Judiciary.
Ms. Belair is a graduate of Texas A&M University, where she earned a B.A. in communication. She and her husband live on Capitol Hill with their Golden Retriever puppy, Toby.
