Hugh O'Donnell

Hugh O’Donnell is the Associate Director of the Social Sector Accelerator. A subsidiary of Counterpart International, the Accelerator designs evidence-based solutions to development challenges with a focus on cost-effectiveness and financial sustainability. The Accelerator does this through its own grants and through consulting engagements with foundations, other donors, and non-profits. Prior to joining the Accelerator, Hugh was a Presidential Management Fellow in the U.S. government, most recently for the Development Innovation Ventures (DIV) team at USAID. Before DIV, Hugh worked on foreign policy in the office of a U.S. Senator and at the State Department. Hugh holds a MA from Georgetown University and a BA from University of Colorado.
