Dan Moreno

Dan joined SID-United States as Annual Events Coordinator in February 2022. Dan manages SID-US's event partnerships, coordinates logistics, and supports the implementation of programs. Dan earned his BA in International Studies from the School of International Service at American University in 2021 with concentrations in Peace, Global Security, and Conflict Resolution and Global Inequality and Development. In his time at AU, Dan founded and led a community service college club for over 100 students. He gained event coordination experience as an intern for Peace Jam Mid Atlantic, an international youth peace education nonprofit led by 14 Nobel Peace Laureates. In this role, he collaborated in planning a conference for 300 youth and a Nobel Peace Laurate. Dan has led multiple volunteer environmental cleanups in the DC-metro area and has served as a youth educator while in college. In his free time, Dan likes to play music, cook, and enjoy nature.
