Cristina Pombo

Cristina Pombo, Development & Innovation, InterAmerican Development Bank, as a Colombian citizen, works on connecting development issues in Latin America and the Caribbean with innovative solutions, and producing initiatives to strengthen the relationship with the most creative minds in the world. She is focused on innovation inside and outside the organization and to foster a culture of innovation. Previously, Ms. Pombo was a Strategic Development Specialist and advisor to the IDB Vice President for Countries, and advisor to the CEO of the National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia. Ms. Pombo is an economist, with a BA in Economics from Universidad del Rosario in Colombia and an MA from John’s Hopkins in Applied Economics.
