Corrie Blankenbeckler is an education specialist, with over 15 years’ experience providing technical and managerial support in formal and non-formal education in diverse environments in the Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Central Asia. As Senior Associate in Creative's Education Division, she provides subject-matter expertise and technical leadership in developing early literacy programs in multilingual contexts. Her technical areas of specialization include teacher training and coaching, curriculum development, educational leadership, community engagement, and formative and summative assessment. A graduate of Teachers College of Columbia University and American University in Cairo, she is currently serving as Project Director for a large-scale multilingual early grade reading project in Mozambique. Ms. Blankenbeckler speaks English, French, Moroccan and Egyptian Arabic, and Portuguese.
