Chelsea Keyser is a seasoned development professional with over 15 years’ experience managing programs that foster community empowerment, gender equity, and sustainable natural resource management with regional focuses in Africa and South East Asia. Chelsea currently serves as Chief of Party on the USAID Catalyst Project, which supports the Agency to use open innovation to identify, fund, and build the capacity of innovators around the world to tackle wicked development problems. Chelsea has lead the design and implementation of over 10 competitions, including the RISE Challenge, which addresses gender-based violence in environmental programs. Prior to joining Catalyst Chelsea served as the Chief of Party for a USAID funded regional program based in Nairobi that supported the East African Community to improve sustainable management of natural resources. Chelsea holds a BA from Brandeis University and MA from University Bradford, where she was a Rotary Peace Fellow.
