Charles is currently the Special Assistant to the Chief Economist for Sustainable Development at the World Bank. He is also a founding member of the World Bank’s Geospatial Operations Support Team (GOST), which helps operational teams apply geospatial technology to development problems. Over the last year, he has been focused on developing an open source platform for road asset detection, management and analysis, as well as helping GOST to set the strategic direction at the Bank on matters geospatial. Prior to the World Bank, Charles worked for Lazard in their Natural Resources and Financial Sponsors teams. Charles holds a BA in Economics and Management from Christ Church, Oxford.
