Dr. Candace Lew, as a medical doctor of obstetrics and gynecology and a public health professional, she has over 25 years of experience in domestic and international activities related to reproductive and maternal health, contraception, and community mobilization, among others. In her current role as Senior Technical Advisor for Contraception Dr. Lew provides technical assistance to Pathfinder International projects that address family planning services in a clinical setting. She has provided technical support and capacity building to Pathfinder’s cadre of frontline clinical workers, and has helped create the family planning strategies in Pathfinder’s program design. Additionally, Dr. Lew’s strengths include quality improvement, training, family planning compliance, and family planning service delivery. Dr. Lew holds an MPH from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, a Doctorate of Medicine from the University of California San Francisco, and a BA in Psychobiology from UCLA.
