Andrew Keck is Vice President for Resilient Economies at Abt Global where he leverages more than 30 years of experience designing and delivering complex programs in Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, and Asia. At Abt Global, Andrew is responsible for driving growth strategies and Abt’s organizational impact and innovations in agriculture, food security, economic growth, governance and international evaluation and research. In this role he capitalizes on his broad technical and research background that spans agriculture, economic growth, climate change adaptation, forestry and natural resources management, biodiversity conservation, and water and sanitation. Andrew’s experience includes serving as Chief of Party, Deputy Chief of Party and Technical Advisor on USAID-funded projects in Madagascar and Senegal.
Andrew previously served as Abt’s Vice President for West Africa, North Africa and the Middle East, and at Tetra Tech as Director for water and sanitation. Andrew also worked at International Resources Group (IRG), where he held multiple roles over 16 years. He began his career with the World Bank conducting research and policy assessments and served for 3.5 years as the coordinator for the multi-donor secretariat to Madagascar’s second national environment program.
Andrew holds a Master’s in Environmental Management from the Nicholas School of the Environment at Duke University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and French from Allegheny College. He speaks fluent French and is the proud father of three wonderful children.
