Allison Annette Foster

Allison Annette Foster brings 15+ years’ experience in health systems strengthening. Foster’s expertise in leveraging resources across sectors to achieve sustainable service delivery improvements has taken her from local village meetings in remote settings to global speaking engagements in Africa, Europe, Latin America, U.S. and Canada. As Senior Health Systems Advisor at IntraHealth International, Ms. Foster aims to link workforce investment to improved service delivery, stronger health systems, and better health outcomes. Before joining IntraHealth, Foster served as team lead for health workforce development and performance at University Research Corporation (URC). As Regional Advisor for the Americas for 10 years with the World Health Organization/Pan American Health Organization, Foster advised Ministries of Health in Latin America and the Caribbean. Her experience spans the HRH field, from improving quality with frontline teams to developing HRH policy with national governments.
