Adam Hemphill

Adam Hemphill is Director of Global Government Affairs for Walmart. In this role, Adam is primarily responsible for international trade, supply chain and transportation issues related across Walmart's global retail network. He engages global policymakers on behalf of the company to advocate on retail and logistics issues that spur growth and economic development. He collaborates closely with the Global Responsibility unit, which has among its activities creating opportunities for people worldwide in retail and the retail supply chains beyond Walmart. He frequently represents his colleagues to discuss Global Responsibility efforts including supporting pre-employment training efforts worldwide for the retail and retail supply chains. He holds a Master of Arts degree in International Law and Economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and a Bachelor of Arts degree French and Commercial Studies from the University of Illinois.
