Viktor Liashko was born in 1980 in Rivne region, Ukraine. He graduated from the Bogomolets National Medical University.
Professional Career
Before he was appointed Minister of Health, Liashko held various significant positions within Ukraine's healthcare system. He began his career as a practicing physician, which provided him with firsthand experience in patient care and the operational challenges of medical institutions. His interest in public health and epidemiology led him to join the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of Ukraine, where he quickly advanced due to his dedication and expertise. Liashko served as the Deputy Director of Ukraine's State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service and later as the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Ukraine.
