Tiffany Ross currently serves as a Business Development Specialist at Opportunity International, where she supports the deployment of innovative financial solutions for development outcomes across over 33 countries. In her role, she is passionate about forging cross-sectoral partnerships that improve inclusive access to finance and leverage blended finance mechanisms to mobilize local capital. With over nine years in the international development industry, Tiffany’s work has spanned collaborations with global and domestic nonprofits, government agencies, academic and research institutions, and the private sector, which have contributed towards her expertise in strategic planning, project management, business development, and stakeholder engagement in diverse global settings. 


Before joining Opportunity International, Tiffany served as a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) Peace Corps volunteer in Stryi, Western Ukraine from 2019 until the COVID-19 pandemic necessitated her early return in March 2020. She has also conducted extensive fieldwork research in Lusaka, Zambia with the Southern African Institute for Policy and Research (SAIPAR), focusing on increasing access to justice and court efficiency, and with the Zambian Governance Foundation (ZGF), where she examined barriers to healthcare delivery in rural communities. 


Tiffany holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and a Master of Arts in International Development with Certification in Global Business & Corporate Social Responsibility from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver. She has lived and worked in Southern Africa and Eastern Europe and is fluent in English and German, with proficiency in Ukrainian and French.
