Tessie Kuhe is a Gender and Inclusion practitioner with over two decades of experience in development. She has spent the last 20 years working on public health and gender issues at USAID/Nigeria. Tessie’s technical areas of expertise include Gender, GBV, HIV prevention, as well as Orphans and Vulnerable Children, Adolescents and People with Disabilities programming. Most recently, she was the USAID Nigeria Gender and Inclusive Development Advisor where she provided technical oversight to ensure gender and inclusive development integration in all sectors of the Mission’s work. Tessie also co-led the Mission’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility efforts and the US Embassy Niegria's DEIA Council. She is a strong facilitator, a seasoned program manager, an accomplished public speaker, an excellent trainer, and a mentor for several other gender professionals.
