Reid M. Porter

Reid M. Porter is the Director of Data Strategy at DevResults, a technology company advancing data-driven decision-making in international development. He works with customers to leverage ICT, open data, and GIS to improve their M&E systems and data quality, and very occasionally pushes code.

For nearly two decades, Reid has managed teams and projects in various fields, including city planning, demographic research, US aid policy, project implementation, and finally software design. He holds two degrees from The University of Texas at Austin—a Master of Public Affairs (MPAff) and a Geography degree with a focus on Geographic Information Science (GISci).
