Olivier Girard is the Chief of Party for the USAID/OTI Littorals Regional Initiative (LRI) implemented by Creative Associates. Olivier has spent the past decade living and working in West Africa. He previously worked with Creative from 2018 to 2021 as Chief of Party on the $33 million USAID/OTI Nigeria Lake Chad Basin program, a grants program focused on countering violent extremism in North East Nigeria. Before joining Creative in 2018, Olivier was Chief of Party on post-conflict and CVE programs in Mali and Chad, as well as worked on a Millennium Challenge Corporation program in Mali. A Canadian citizen fluent in English and French, Olivier holds a B.A. in International Development Studies from McGill University and M.Sc. in Economics from HEC Montreal Business School. He lives with his wife and three kids in Accra, Ghana.
