Katherine Ovalle, age 22, works on human rights and youth issues in Guatemala. Katherine collaborates with the Guatemalan NGO Centro de Investigación para la Prevención de Violencia en Centroamerica and is an active member of the Landivarianxs Collective, which seeks to increase the political influence and involvement of students. She is a graduate of International Relations at Rafael Landívar University, with diplomas focused on youth development in Guatemala, political leadership, social transformation and citizen participation.
