DeAnn McGrew is the President/Chief Executive Officer of DevWorks International. Ms. McGrew is a visionary, results-oriented leader with more than 20 years of versatile experience in impact-driven international development, who excels in working at both the strategic and operational levels. She has successfully generated over $400 million in awards and implemented development projects focused on agriculture, enterprise development, water and sanitation, governance, and civil society in more than 35 countries, including extensive work in South Sudan, Nigeria, Mali, Nepal, and Myanmar. She has built and maintained a deep, global network of professional relationships with donors, partners, and subject matter experts in the industry. Ms. McGrew also has over two decades of experience designing and implementing skilled volunteer programs, including the long-standing USAID-funded Farmer-to-Farmer Program, and has developed tools, procedures, and information systems for volunteer programming. Prior to joining DevWorks, Ms. McGrew served as the Senior Director of Program Delivery with Winrock International and leveraged her experience as a certified project manager to lead institutional efforts to ensure consistent delivery of program excellence through the adoption of industry-standard project management tools and approaches. Ms. McGrew is trained in mindful leadership and throughout her career has built and led high-performing teams, empowering them to improve programmatic and operational effectiveness and efficiency to accomplish ambitious goals and drive positive and inclusive change. She has a B.A. in history and sociology from the University of Central Arkansas.
