Betsey has been helping leaders and organizations for more than 25 years. Her work is focused on creating successful, sustainable organizations that fully support the people in them. Teaching the practices of authentic and powerful leadership, her facilitation style catalyzes lasting growth and change. Skillfully developing emotional intelligence for truly inspiring leadership, she helps people radically improve personal and organizational effectiveness.


As an early pioneer in experiential training and development, she is widely known for her innovative methods that engage learners and deepen understanding and application of coursework. Betsey has served as the Director of Duke University’s Leadership Training Associates. She has earned a Certificate in Organization Development and is an expert in Enneagram personality types, Presence-Based Coaching, and the Denison Organizational Culture Model. She weaves together original material with concepts from many sources to help clients reach their goals.

She has partnered with organizations and people from diverse industries including health care, renewable fuels, biotech, software, manufacturing, construction, engineering and pharma. This varied experience has given her the perspective needed to tailor solutions specific to client needs.
