About:

Professor of Department of Management of Organizations National Scientific Center “Institute for Soil Science and Agrochemistry Research named after O. N. Sokolovsky”, Chief Scientific Researcher of Department of Innovative Economics, External Relations and Informatization of Scientific Research, Doctor of Economic Sciences.

Key research topics, skills and expertise – agricultural and environmental economics. Primary topics – economics of land degradation; methodological support for determining the economic efficiency of innovative technologies and projects in crop production; methodological basis for transfer of innovations in the context of sustainable development of agriculture.

The Public Organization "Ukrainian Society of Soil Scientists and Agrochemists" with USAID AGRO’ support conducted the comprehensive research to develop a solution for using bottom sediments from freshwater bodies to improve soil health and fertility. These sediments can be applied to all types of soils as fertilizers, soil improvers, and materials for land recultivation and structural amelioration. They can also be used in the production of organic and mineral fertilizers. This innovative approach addresses two issues simultaneously: restoring soils and improving the health and growth of fish by cleaning ponds.
