Aaron Roesch is a Senior Policy Analyst in USAID's Bureau for Policy, Planning, and Learning. He focuses on a range of policy issues, including fragility, resilience, the humanitarian-development-peace nexus, and responding to COVID-19. He has also undertaken detail assignments to the Department of State’s Bureaus of Near Eastern Affairs and International Organization Affairs and the U.S. Mission to the United Nations. He joined USAID in 2012 as a Presidential Management Fellow. Previously, he worked for the International Rescue Committee in Uganda, Kenya, and the United Kingdom. He holds a BA from Stanford University and an MPP from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
