About Corus International

Lutheran World Relief and IMA World Health created Corus International to better collaborate with local partners, enterprises and governments to:
a) build capacity, access resources and address public health needs of people affected by poverty, conflict, and other hardships; and
b) help rural communities struggling with poverty to develop productive, resilient, and stable economies.

Corus also responds to disasters with humanitarian assistance, and employs impact investing, and technology for development approaches to better achieve its mission.
In our work we promote gender equity, positive youth development, and resilience and continually assess the gender constraints, youth needs, and shocks and stressors that are affecting these communities’ ability to thrive.
