Alexandra Sarris

Alexandra joined SID-US as a volunteer for the 2023 Annual Conference and returned as a Summer 2025 intern. In her current role, she conducts research, manages social media platforms, and supports event coordination. Alexandra is a rising Junior at the University of Pittsburgh where she is pursuing majors in Political Science and International Studies, with minors in Economics, Global Policy, and Modern Greek Language. She has been recognized on the Dean’s List every semester for her academic achievements. On campus, Alexandra is an active member of the Political Science Student Association where she has participated in initiatives such as the annual Washington, D.C. field visit, where she engaged with experts in NGOs, politics, and public service. She has contributed to the planning and execution of semiannual food drives at Columbia Baptist Food Pantry since 2017 and remains involved as a volunteer. In her free time, she enjoys photography, cooking, and watercolor painting.
