John F. Moran is a recently retired senior federal executive with more than 30 years experience mobilizing private investment in emerging markets and post-conflict economies at DFC/OPIC, Treasury, and USAID in key sectors (climate/energy finance, health security, water/infrastructure, SME/microfinance) and regions (Europe/Eurasia, Sub-Saharan Africa, Middle East and Asia). Much of his career focused on developing innovative approaches to accelerate market transition and private sector growth to support foreign and development policy priorities of the U.S. and its allies. Recent federal posts include leading investment initiatives for Ukraine for DFC and U.S. Special Representative Penny Pritzker, successfully restructuring DFC’s domestic medical supply chain loan program, and supporting creation of the CHIPS semiconductor credit program at Commerce.  Mr. Moran now advises private companies and investors in sustaining and expanding Ukraine’s economic recovery.
